Getting hitched
Getting Hitched is a personal wedding website created to share information with the guests and also as a way for them to RSVP.
The design had to be in tone with the wedding invite colors, as well as the content being privacy conscious. The pages also had to be light and easy to load on mobile.
After doing some competitive analysis on wedding websites, I came to the conclusion that a wedding website doesn;t have to be stagnant after the RSVP.That meant providing information for the wedding day as well, related to ceremony, venue, accommodation etc.
Most websites showed pictures of the groom and the bride, however because of the privacy comcerns those were replaced with custom avatars.
